Under 12’s V Albury City FC Won 4 – 1
This was an awesome game, as the Hotspurs played very cooperatively as a team. The boys had some great passes, lots of goal attempts, and a fantastic effort at defence. Connor scored the first goal after an excellent pass by Willson. Alec then scored the second goal after an amazing assist from Burkeley. Alec then scored the third goal, and Wendell finished with the fourth goal. Burkeley, Baxter, Harry, and Aiden had some goal attempts that were oh so close! Myles, Felix, Manny and Memphis worked together for some fantastic defence, keeping the Albury City goals to only
one. Great efforts from Tim, Tom C, and Tom B, as well! Scott did a great job defending the goals. Thanks to the under 11’s boys who played up (Wendell, Harry, Aiden, Tom C., and Baxter). Best on ground goes to Manny. Well done boys!

Under 12’s Girls V Albury City FC Lost 3 – 8
The girls played a great game together with so many positives to be taken away from the game. They never gave up against a stronger opposition and continued to play. They passed the ball well to each other on the field as we continue to learn to play on the “big field”. Alesha was outstanding in goals and pulled off some great saves. Laura, Erica, Ciara and Zara were strong in defence and did a great job. Sarsha, Bella, Lily and Mia were great in midfield and got lots of the ball, well done girls!!! Up front Justine and Halle played well with great speed. And Bella G did a great job in her first game for the Under 12 girls. Well Done girls a great team effort, you never gave up and played well together, Keep it up!!!

A good hit out for the team, no tornado to speak of but we did have our own storm on occasion which was twice denied on the line. There was a lot to be happy about with the team work but we still need to be more accurate with our short passes and try to rotate the subs to get the best from our players. Midfield worked hard and clogged up their attack while our backs were a whirlwind of defense to keep the game close. Next is a trip to Wangaratta, hope we have enough players.
Reserve Women V Albury City FC Lost 0 – 2
A great game from the reserve women, who played well all game and were unlucky not to score. Miki and Jess M did a fantastic job in goals, well done girls. The defence were strong and held together by Bec S, Beth, Kellie and Ash, who played an awesome first game for the club, well done Ash!! The midfield played well together and we had most of the possession for the game Kaylah, Mikaela, Gios and Jess/Miki did a great job. And Fi and Deb played up front together and got a few shots on target. Thanks to Ian for being the referee and Coach. Great Work girls, keep it up the win
is coming!!!
Reserves V Albury City FC Won 7 – 2
The reserves men played very well to get their biggest win for some time. Jerry Norton(milky), Will Clifton and Jack Percy were standout players in a very good performance. Michael Wright, Mark Belgre and Jon Corkett also played well.
Ladies V Albury City FC Lost 0 – 8
Seniors V Albury City FC Won 1 – 0
A late goal by James Eggleston was enough to get the seniors their first win of the season. The team played well in patches but will have to be more consistent for the whole game to collect more wins. Both James and Alex Eggleston had good games as did Rob Barrett and Ben Porta.
