Under 12’s V Boomers FC Won 10 – 0
Another great win 10 to 0 for Hotspurs U/12’s
Our defence was rock solid with all players working hard to keep Boomers from scoring. Midfield passed the ball around, put in some lovely crosses through to our forwards and offered support for our backs when required
Our forwards were determined, running on every ball that was put through. Our backs where solid as always and Scott reliable in goals again.
Well done to all our players for playing so well with many playing in positions that they have never played in before.
Congratulations to Manny and “H” for scoring their first goals for the season.
Best on ground Award was Manny for his ever reliable defence and for scoring his first goal.
Under 12’s Girls V Melrose Won 3 – 1
Another exciting game from the under 12 girls!! Playing 9 a side made the field really big but the girls moved around the field well and created a lot of chances, Evie was on fire slotting home two very nice goals in the second half after Lilly goal in the first half. Bella was strong all game and was unlucky not to put one in the back of the net!!! Great goal keeping was shown by Alesha and Halle, Well Done girls a great team effort!!!

Over 35’s V Diamonds Won 2 – 1
A night game that Batman would be proud of. No batmobile was necessary and the only secret gear we needed was a lot of talk and solid defence. We passed to feet and ran to space so we had the opposition rattled, as well as a good goal by Wayne five minutes into the first half. Chances went to both sides and Alfred would have been impressed with our teamwork. The second half was much of the same though we did start to tire but a diving header by Wayne again from a Jim B cross put us two up. A dubious goal with five to go made for some exciting times but thankfully we held out. Thanks to Ian for reefing and Jim P for a great game in goal.
Over 35’s V Albury City Blue Lost 1 – 2
After the midweek game we came out with all our skills honed by a bit of training. This showed in the first half where the game went up and down the pitch and Ben scored from a rebound off a Jim B shot. We went into the second half with a lot of confidence but a couple of defensive lapses let goals in and we could not get one back. If we continue on this resurgence we can give the other teams a right old bat surprise.
Reserve Women V Heart Won 4 – 0
After being very short on numbers and not even sure we would have a team, the girls pulled together well and started strongly. Jess B scored first after a great cross from Gios, sliding the ball into the back of the net. The defence were awesome all game and didn’t let a lot through with Bec Briggs, Beth, Danielle and Kaylah all having strong games. Our Super Sub Keeper Bec Snow had a great game and kept a clean sheet with some fantastic kick outs, Jamie and Mikaela had strong games in midfield and all the girls played well on the wet pitch with other goals to Fi (a long shot), Kael’s (a very sneaky one) and another to Jess B.
Keep up the great work girls, Well Done a really great team effort!!
Reserve Women V Boomers FC BYE
Reserves V Boomers FC Lost 0 – 2
This was a good standard game with Spurs having chances to win.The team played a good second half but could not get a goal to put some pressure on their opponents. John Belgre, Irish, Jack Percy and Viders had strong games for the Ressies.
Ladies V Boomers FC Lost 0 – 10
Seniors V Boomers FC Won 3 – 2
This was a great win by the seniors as we have not won at Glen Park for a long time. Alex Eggleston, Nick Musarra and Ryan Giles played very well as did Sam Harriss. This was a really good team effort by the seniors. Well done.
