Match Reports
Under 11’s V Benalla
Under 12’s V Benalla Won 11 – 0
A fairly one-sided match with the coach trying every player in a new position. All players executed the coach’s instruction well and the boys reaped the benefits. 11 goals 11 different goal scorers. The team wishes Tom B all the best for the future in England. Three players scored their first goals …. they were Tim, Memphis and Scott … congratulations. Some great passages of play with the boys putting passes together.
Goal Scorers: Scott, Felix, Manny, Tom B, Tom C, Connor, Myles, Memphis, Alec, Tim and Aidan
Coach’s award: Tom B
Under 12’s Girls V Diamonds Lost 0 – 3
A much closer game than the score shows.
The girls all played well and are definitely the big improvers of the competition and go from strength to strength, it is always exciting to watch the girls play unfortunately we just could not score. A great team effort!!!

A good game from the reserve ladies to secure the 3 points. We were a little slow to get started and just could not convert our chances.
Gios put us on the board first after a great cross from Fi. Bec and Emily had good games in goals keeping a clean sheet. Jess and Bec also scored nice goals, keep up the great work and hopefully we can contest strongly in the finals.
Reserves V Benalla Won 3 – 2
Good to have the Res win again and secure a finals spot. Ben Porta scored two good goals and Tashi also scored with a great shot. Mark Belgre had
the most spectacular miss of the year with an attempted flying header. James Patton, Michael Wright and Tashi all had strong games.
