U11s v Benalla Won 14 – 0
After a few weeks off, and no training due to washout Wednesdays, the kids were very keen to play and it showed in the score. The kids were relentless and did not stop their attacking play for the entire game.
It was great to have Bidish back having not played for eight weeks and he managed to get two goals for the team.
Other goals scorers were Dawson (4), Tomo (3), Jack (2), Ava, Brodie and Mitch.
Special mention to Mitch, always patiently sitting on the bench for us and it was great to see the team celebrate with him when he scored on Sunday.
Two rounds to go before finals start, let’s keep building the intensity.
Sodens awards for rounds 19 and 20 go to Jack and Cody.
Blockbuster award goes to Jonathon.
Cold Rock award goes to Dawson.
Under 12s v Benalla BYE
Under 12s Girls v Wangaratta Lost 1 – 2
On a sunny Saturday we travelled to Wangaratta and we started the game well scoring an early goal!! We held possession but just could not convert our chances in front of goal. At half time we had a 1 nil lead but Wangaratta came out strong and scored twice. They have definitely improved over the season and we gave them their first win!! Hopefully we can regroup and come home strong in the finals!!
Awards to: Ciara and Grace
Under 13s v Benalla Won 12 – 0
After a long road trip down the Hume to Benalla the boys and girls took the field hoping for a great game. After a shaky first half the team was 3-0 up at half time. After the halftime talk the team returned to the field with a new determination. Another nine goals were scored by many different players on the field giving the team a final score of 12-0 at full time. Well done to all the team!
Under 14s v Benalla BYE
Under 14s Girls v Benalla Won 7 – 0
A very tough game when you have to play 7 against 7 on a normal size field, but the girls did well and created many scoring chances and definitely gave the Benalla keeper a work out, much to her credit she pulled off some great saves!! Thankyou to the girls for making the road trip especially Ava and Scarlet from the Under 12s and for the girls patience in making subs. Special mention to Grace who was thrown into goals and volunteered to stay for the whole game, Keep working as a team and you can do great things!!

Reserve Women Gold v Benalla Won 14 – 0
A fantastic effort by the team for our road trip to Benalla, played an 8-a-side game to match Benalla’s line up. Alex, Jess, Mia, Carissa, Claire, Fi, Snowy attacked well to finish off some great goals and a comfortable win 14-0, goals to Alex 5, Jess 4, Snowy 3, Mia 2 but had plenty of missed opportunities. Solid defence by Kelly, Snowy, Molly, Narelle and Megan and thanks to our goal keepers Megan and Carissa. Great to see some great passes and triangles being put together. Well done to Narelle playing her first game and Megan making a return from knee surgery. Thank you to Ava Tuksar for running the line for our game!!
Be wonderful to see the team at training so we can start working on our finals preparation, two more rounds to go. Go Spurs!!
