Welcome to season 2018

Firstly we would like to thank our sponsors new and existing for their support of our club to allow us to purchase new playing shirts, training equipment and acquire funds for the future development of club rooms and ground infrastructure including a future upgrade of lighting to training grounds.

NSW Active Kids $100 voucher

Commencing 31 January 2018 the NSW Government will provide a $100 voucher to parents/guardians of school enrolled children. The $100 voucher can be used for registration and participation costs for sport and fitness activities.

Every child (4.5 – 18 years’ old) enrolled in school from Kindergarten to Year 12 is eligible. This includes those who are home-schooled or enrolled in secondary school education at TAFE NSW.

It will not be means tested and one voucher will be available for every child in the family annually over the next four years.

There will be no limits on the number of applications per family, as long as every child is enrolled in school.

Registration Information

Online registrations will open Thursday 1st February.
There has been a slight increase in some fees.
This season all Miniroos players will receive a bag, ball and drink bottle included with their registration package.
Coaches and Managers (Volunteers) are required to register online and also obtain a Working With Children Check if they are 18 years and over and coach or managed any junior team. You will be asked to provide your WWC number and expiry date during the registration process.
People who are not involved as a player, coach, manager or committee member can register as a Social Member of ALbury Hotspurs to show your support and get the same access to club social events as all other members.

AWFA Coaching Accreditation Courses March 2018

We would like to notify all AWFA clubs & prospective coaches wanting to get accreditation in 2018, we will holding our combined community courses – Game training / Senior & Skill based training – at Glen park on the following dates & times:

Friday 2nd March 6:00pm-9:30 pm
Saturday 3rd March 8:30am-4:00pm
Friday 9th March 6:00pm-9:30pm

The cost of each module is $100. (Albury Hotspurs will cover this cost, notify our secretary if you wish to attend a course)

Please let the AWFA Secretary of your intention & the course you wish to undertake – we will accept registrations up to the first day of the course & must be paid upon registration.

Miniroos

We are thrilled to announce a three year Miniroos sponsor QUEST Wodonga. With this sponsorship from Quest Wodonga we can acquire new playing shirts for evry Hotspurs Miniroos player.
Also this season all Miniroos players will receive a bag, ball and drink bottle included with their registration package.

Teamapp

Albury Hotspurs Teamapp users, all access groups have now been reset. Please open you app and request access to your appropriate team.
Coaches and Managers using team app for notifications, voting, draw and match availability. When requesting access to the group you manage please request restricted admin in you comments.

Hotspurs Club Shop

The Hotspurs Online Club shop will come online in the near future and will include the new Senior Club wear.
Some items will be in stock, other items will have a order cut off deadline and ordering will be less often to make the operation of the shop feasible.

Hotspurs Club Coaching Panel

The Hotspurs Club Coaching Panel led by John Belgre with assistance and liaison by Senior Coaches, Robert Tuksar, Matt Townsend and John Irvine.
From time to time there will be some useful information posted here for our coaches.
Coaches can also utilise John and the Coaching Panel for help with any aspect of coaching they would like help with.

Match Reports

All the teams match reports will be posted here throughout the season so we encourage coaches and managers to supply a match report not only for your team players and parents but also so the rest of the club, social members, friends and sponsors can see how each team is progressing.
