POSITION VACANT – PRESIDENT
Unfortunately our club President, Jason Smith has had to resign his position on the committee due to family and work commitments.
We hope to fill this position which will be voted on at our next committee meeting and we encourage our members to attend.
It is quite possible this role may be filled by one of our current committee members which will create another vacant position.
We are always open to new people to join our committee and if you would like to be apart of building the future of the club please come to the meeting.

11 Girls v Melrose won 6 – 0
This was a top of the table clash with both teams going into the game undefeated. It was a tight first 10 minutes but eventually Spurs started to get on top. Seanna broke the deadlock with a trademark finish after battling hard to win the ball in the box. Elisha then belted a goal, followed by Rylee who scored her first ever goal. Imi then knocked a nice goal in to finish the half 4-0. The second half saw first half keeper Ava come out on the field and netted 2 goals herself. The girls really held formation great during this game and the ball hardly came into their half. It was a really great game to watch as the girls are staring to gel and look for the wings to get the ball doen the lines before making some great crosses. Bianca had a great first half before heading into goals where she had a quite remainder of the game. Chelsea also played a great game after coming back from injury. The team later had a team dinner at Bradys where awards for the start of the year were presented to the following:
Ava – For outstanding goalkeeping and field play in every game so far.
Elisha – For her 5 goal haul against Diamonds in round 1.
Isla – For her game against Wangaratta where she was tireless in getting forward and creating plent of chances for the team.
Rylee – For her effort in every game this year where she has given 100% in a variety of positions.
Chelsea – For here game against Melrose where she had several great runs with the ball and put her body on the line.
11 Boys v Boomers won 5 – 1
A much improved effort this week from our young Spurs taking the points.
John played a great game in right back and midfield. Murray scored and deserved his first goal for the season after just missing out last week. Zavier was so close in scoring and played well in a couple of positions.
Many thanks to Elisha for playing, taking the corners and the own goal was a reflection off a kick from Elisha .
Training normal time this week with Brad and Cooper returning .

12 Boys v Boomers lost 1 – 4
The first half wasn’t the best with the opposition scoring four goals.
After a rev up at halftime and some oranges it was a much improved effort in the second half with Hotspurs scoring and our backline giving 100% .
Great games from Sam,Dustin,Lenny,Daisy and Ashleigh’s speed against some worthy opposition was a highlight.
Let’s have everyone at training this week with some tough matches in the next few weeks .

Thirds v Boomers drew 1 – 1
It was a bit of a missed opportunity for the Spurs on Sunday with the end result (a 1-1 draw) not really reflecting how much they dominated the play. On the attack for much of the time they scored in the first half when Harry sent a thumping ball forward and Denzel ran on and kicked an easy goal. The opposition was always dangerous in attack and scored the counter with less than a minute to go before half-time. The second half was tighter and all credit to the defence who did a sterling job to repel further incursions by the opposition. Spurs had plenty of chances and were unlucky not to score again. Goalkeeper Will made some magnificent saves. Thanks to Ben G and Jacob S for running the lines.
